Description
Urban energy takes over this composition mixing painting and mixed media techniques. The central character emerges from an organized chaos where fragments of press and city architectures overlap. The dynamic silhouette, treated with precision, contrasts with the fragmented background.
The artist plays with reliefs to give physical depth to the canvas. Projections of red and blue paint break the rigor of the urban lines. The Pop art style is expressed here through controlled chromatic saturation and an iconic subject.
The background evokes the effervescence of New York. White dominates to let the scene breathe, while the collages add a textural dimension. The balance between empty areas and saturated areas creates visual tension.
This 2024 creation highlights the North American influence through a work on material. The flashes of color and the superimpositions of paper structure the space. The eye glides from the typographical details to the athletic posture of the character.
