Figo, 2026

Eva Hidalgo

A luminous yellow background radiates warmth. A young girl stands at the center. Her large, expressive eyes hold a quiet gaze. A single red braid falls over her shoulder. She wears a simple red skirt adorned with white vertical stripes. The composition is grounded by a large, golden circular form. This shape frames her like a protective halo. Within this circle, a small turquoise cat appears. The feline is stylized with playful stripes. Its presence adds a touch of whimsy to the atmosphere. The artist uses thick, expressive brushstrokes. Texture plays a vital role in the emotional depth. Earthy tones blend with vibrant pops of color. The narrative suggests a moment of innocent companionship. Every line feels intentional and raw. The figure emerges from the golden glow with a gentle presence. This artwork balances childhood nostalgia with a sophisticated use of color. Subtle blue accents punctuate the lower edges. The harmony of the warm palette creates a sense of serenity. A small signature anchors the bottom left corner.
