La barrera invisible, 2026

Eva Hidalgo

Vivid colors define this expressive acrylic composition. A pair of legs dominates the frame. They float against a deep turquoise backdrop. The figures appear weightless and surreal. One foot rests delicately on a golden surface. The other lingers in mid-air. Thin black lines crisscross the canvas. They evoke a sense of structured chaos or invisible boundaries. Small colorful spheres dot the landscape like whimsical candies.
The perspective is fragmented and intimate. The palette balances cool aquatic tones with warm earthy yellows. The brushwork remains tactile and deliberate. This figurative approach transforms a simple scene into a poetic exploration of movement. The composition blends everyday elements with a dreamlike atmosphere. Each anatomical curve is exaggerated for emotional impact. The light feels diffused and internal. A soft glow emanates from the base of the artwork. This piece explores the intersection of memory and physical presence. The final effect is one of gentle instability and quiet wonder. Fine details emerge in the rendered toes and the delicate strap of a sandal.

And you? What is your invisible barrier?
