Description
This canvas explores the contradictions of contemporary society through the prism of pop art. The iconic figure of Minnie Mouse dominates the center of a dense and saturated composition. The artist superimposes symbols of material wealth and logos of major fashion houses.
The line is assertive. The colors are straightforward. The use of deliberate drips brings an urban dimension, recalling the codes of street art. Every millimeter of space is occupied by inscriptions related to money and luxury.
The image plays on the contrast between the innocence of a cartoon character and the crudeness of materialism. The eye is drawn to the graphic details and repetitive patterns. The whole creates a visual tension between childlike aesthetics and social critique.
The composition is structured around a red and yellow background where dollar signs and fashion references intertwine.
