Description
The orange collage is the beginning of a series of paintings in orange tones. I often start a new series with miniature collages. This technique offers a lot of freedom. I find compositional and colour solutions in the meditative technique of collage. The peculiarity of this work is that I used pieces of antique books that had been eaten by beetles. I like to joke that this work is my collaboration with beetles.
The collage is framed in a double black mat and is ready to hang.
Presentation
I am an artist based in Valencia with classical art training and additional studies at a Museum of Modern Art. I have exhibited in 50+ shows, and my works are in private and museum collections.
