Description
This abstract composition captures a spontaneous energy. The Swiss painter utilizes acrylics to create a vibrant dialogue between color and gesture. Bold yellow strokes dominate the upper left. Deep greens and sudden flashes of red emerge below. A heavy mass of black anchors the lower left corner. These intense hues contrast with a sweeping expanse of white. This pale layer floats across the surface. It suggests a fresh beginning or a clearing mist.
The artist employs a raw, tactile approach. Visible brushwork reveals a physical intensity. Thin black lines slice through the layers. They add a rhythmic tension to the scene. The balance between chaotic marks and open spaces creates a dynamic tension. Soft pink tones subtly ground the bottom edge. Every movement feels urgent. The layering process builds a complex emotional depth. This artwork transforms a blank canvas into a sensory experience. It reflects a mastery of light and saturation developed over decades of study in Basel and Münchenstein. The final result is a powerful study of contrast and atmospheric weight.
