Description
Geometric precision meets lyrical chaos. This 2025 oil painting explores a fragmented reality through a sophisticated lens of abstraction. The artist deconstructs familiar forms to reveal a spiritual architecture. Rhythmic shapes intersect in a complex dance of angles and planes. A bold red guitar anchors the composition. Its organic curves contrast against the sharp edges of the surrounding environment.
The palette balances soft pastels with intense primary tones. Muted violets and cool blues create a sense of depth and atmosphere. A piano keyboard emerges from the periphery, suggesting a silent melody. This visual harmony transforms the canvas into a musical overlay. Every line serves as a bridge between idealism and tangible reality. The composition avoids staticity. It pulses with a kinetic energy that invites the viewer to reconstruct the image. The artwork transforms a domestic scene into a metaphysical landscape. Fine brushwork enhances the structural integrity of the fragmented space. The gaze is drawn across a series of folding surfaces. It concludes on a subtle interplay of light and shadow within the geometric depths.
Presentation
Hongda is a Chinese artist born in 1984 who lives and works in Beijing, China. He is graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic University in 2007. He deconstructs and reshapes the spiritual world, releasing the biological energy of color modeling in the canvas with control, break free, merge, deviate, spiral, shake, fold, burst and finally wrestle, generating a musical overlay, the illusion of the creator. It's like a free flow game deconstructing and allows for infinite generation of images in an open system. Thus, exploring and discovering new ways of viewing the world and expressing the spiritual essence of the world. Convey personal insights into reality and the pursuit of idealism. He uses painting to give back the gift of the spiritual universe. His last exhibition The Third Power of Room, Three Persons Exhibition was held in 2023 at the Hanjian Art Museum in Beijing, China.
