La Voie de Machault - Série Paysage et Nature, 2026

Véronique Saudez

A forest path opens under a vaporous sky. The light guides the gaze towards a mysterious horizon. The path, bathed in a solar yellow, contrasts with the depth of the foliage.

The touch is generous. The material accumulates to create a tactile relief. This oil painting plays with shades of blue and cobalt.

The work on luminosity transforms the natural landscape into a dreamlike scene. The composition structures the space with a central perspective. The trunks stretch vertically, framing the path like organic columns.

The artist favors chromatic harmony here. The play between cool and warm tones brings a visual balance. The quick execution leaves room for a certain spontaneity.

This figurative composition captures the essence of a solitary walk. One finds a constant search for the diffraction of light through the branches. The final rendering emphasizes the thick texture of the paint applied to the canvas.
