Description
This dazzling acrylic on canvas work is part of the contemporary figurative abstract style with marked influences of synthetic cubism, fauvism, and Pop Art, distinguished by its vibrant geometric structuring and the rhythmic fragmentation of space. The painting depicts an enigmatic cat contemplating from behind a window ledge a picturesque Mediterranean maritime landscape, where sailboats cross intense blue waters under a golden sun and hills dotted with buildings with earthy roofs. The artist deploys a powerful and saturated chromatic palette that contrasts deep cobalt, cyan, and carmine tones with brilliant ochre yellows, leaf green, and orange, enriched by dotted patterns, undulating lines, and textile mosaics that fragment the architectural frame of the window. Through this geometric deconstruction and the fusion of linear rhythms, the creator seeks to express the contemplative peace of the summer calm, the lyrical harmony between the domestic environment and the immensity of nature, and the poetic beauty that emerges by transfiguring daily reality into a visual kaleidoscope of wonder before the hidden geometry of human emotion.
Presentation
