Description
This acrylic and ink painting explores a dialogue between geometric rigor and spontaneity. The composition is organized around blocks of primary and secondary colors. Yellow and green oppose shades of pink and deep blue.
The gesture becomes central through projections of black ink. These nervous lines cross the canvas without restraint. They break the stability of rectangular forms to establish a jerky rhythm.
The contrast is marked between areas of flat color and impasto of material. The surface plays with reliefs, creating a constant visual tension.
The approach recalls the formal research of classical abstraction mixed with the energy of lyricism. The balance arises from this confrontation between order and chaos.
The whole offers a dynamic reading where the eye circulates between the saturated areas and the lighter spaces. This 2026 creation is distinguished by its chromatic strength and the precision of its contrasts.
Presentation
Surrounded by artists in her family who were able to pass on to her the passion for creation, she grew up surrounded by works that were sometimes complex but also very endearing.
"My creative process begins with drawing, color and creative freedom, developing paintings through play and experimentation. I have a passion for painting landscapes, reflections in water and the sky.
I believe that a painting, an oil, a watercolour or as here pastels, can only really work if the initial drawing or idea has a strong compositional form. I have spent many hours studying artists such as Monet and Van Gogh as well as Art Nouveau.
My love of color is evident in all my works, it is always a joy to discover a vibrant color with its ability to give rise to works that are sometimes abstract or even unidentifiable, and therefore just for the pleasure of contemplation.
In general, my works present an intense use of colors, giving full life to the subject and engaging the spectator to enter a world apart, where the imagination holds a preponderant place."
