Description
Marine Landscape is an original artwork realized by William Edwards Cook between the end of the XIX and the beginning of the XX Century. Watercolor on paper.
The original allmark of the artist atelier is present on the lower left corner.
Mint conditions.
The artwork represents a gulf with blue sea and nature and a village in the distance. The different shades of blue and light blue create a relaxing sensation and the shapes of the nature are only sketched.
The painting has been realized by William Edward Cook (Iowa, 1881), an American painter that, in 1911 exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Françaises with Nue and Portrait de Femme.
