Description
In a whirlwind of deep blues and aquatic hues, the composition seems to vibrate like a wave of creativity in motion. The white lines, fluid and spontaneous, traverse the surface with the energy of a free gesture, reminiscent of the rapid strokes of graffiti or the instinctive scribbles in an artist's sketchbook.
At the center of this graphic commotion emerge two large, expressive, almost childlike eyes, observing the scene with curiosity and mischief. Their gaze gives the work a living presence, as if the painting itself were becoming aware of its own universe.
Elements of street art punctuate the scene: markers integrated into the composition, as if suspended in the pictorial space, recall the origin of the creative gesture. They become both tools and protagonists, witnesses to the artist's passage and the act of creation.
Between waves of color, graphic signs, and playful symbols, the whole creates a dynamic visual landscape where urban energy meets playful poetry. The work thus oscillates between spontaneity and precision, inviting the eye to lose itself in its many details and follow the effervescent rhythm of movement.
Presentation
Poser was born in 1986 in Suresnes. He grew up in Essonne, drawn from a very young age to a diverse artistic sensibility: music, drawing, painting, photography. Art is not a choice for him, but a natural breath, an instinctive territory to which he constantly returns, as if guided by an inner calling.
In 2004, his encounter with graffiti was a revelation. The black and white of pencil gave way to the vibrant colors of spray paint. Wastelands became his studio, walls his playground. There, he discovered the raw energy of lettering, the power of the gesture, the adrenaline rush of the moment. He fell in love with lettering as much as with Hip-Hop culture as a whole—a visual and sonic language that profoundly shaped his artistic identity.
Trained in applied arts, then becoming an interior architect, Poser developed a keen understanding of space and composition. He learned to read volumes, to consider forms within their environment, and to orchestrate colors with precision. This dual approach—instinctive and structured—informs his entire practice today.
His world is a crossroads of influences: comics, classical painting, graffiti, street art, Japanese prints, and contemporary graphic design. He doesn't simply juxtapose these references; he fuses them. His works become spaces for dialogue where urban culture meets the elegance of line, where spontaneity is balanced with mastery.
Between tension and harmony, energy and delicacy, Poser composes a unique visual style — vibrant, rooted in its time, but traversed by more timeless resonances.
