Description
The photograph was taken in Alberta (Canada) in 2004. It is one of the iconic photos of this interesting photographer. Vassilis Raikoftsalis (poet) watches, peering out through layers of threatening farm machinery. The question is: Is it our perception, or the environment, that is threatening?
It will be sent together with the documentation and the catalog of the exhibition where it is published.

Presentation
Jen Sloan (or Jennifer Sloan) was born and works in New York, US. She started photographing in the 70s when she lived in Paris. She experiments with color, black and white and a multitude of different processes. PhotoCollage represents for Joan Sloan the essence of her work and allows her to articulate what she sees according to her imagination. She uses her own photographs which are subtly cut up and recombined. Her photographs speak to us of movement, of atmosphere: a feeling more than a materialization.
Some of permanent art collections: Brooklyn Museum, Empire State College, National Museum of Women in the Arts, New York Public Library, Media Library, Photographic Resource Center, Reader's Digest.
