The cORpuS photographic series, created by the self-taught French artist Louis Blanc, is a fascinating journey into the world of the representation of the human body. Louis Blanc, born in 1956 and living in Toulouse for more than a decade, is a self-taught French photographer whose artistic journey testifies to a ceaseless quest for expression and innovation. Blanc dove into the world of photography without formal training, relying on his passion and intuition to master the art of capturing fleeting moments through the lens.

From the 1980s, he experimented with various equipment, ranging from a Minolta to a digital compact, before finally adopting a SLR in 2010. This transition marked a turning point in his career, allowing him to devote himself fully to his favorite subjects. . In 2011, Blanc launched his iconic CORpuS project, a series of photographs exploring the complexity and expressive capacity of the human body. Inspired by triumph in a photographic competition, Blanc discovers in CORpuS a way to plumb the depths of human emotion and reflection through visceral representations of the body.
