Teddy, 2023

Eliot Blondet

He was 21 years old when Jan Michel Psaïla, head of the Abacapress agency, spotted him and placed a bet on him.
For 8 years he has been the agency's "staff photographer", a position that almost no longer exists in the press, whether in newspapers or agencies.
A bet attempted and succeeded by this agency director, as is often the case.
Eliot covers general, political and social news and can go from the Elysée to the other side of the world from one day to the next. He accumulates reports, those where you have a handful of seconds to get an image to those in the long term where you build a story over weeks.
He is equally comfortable in both and makes a difference with his creativity and talent.
He has an undeniable eye and great technique. That helps even more for the sport than anywhere else.
Since 2019, he has been brought back to sport from time to time, for major events, he loves it. It is a return to the source of his passion.
His father worked for years with Michel Birot, he was immersed in the issues of Attitude, of which he still has the entire collection. So sport in general and rugby in particular, he knows it, he loves it, he understands it and it shows.
