Description
A Captivating original Photograph (C-Print) by acclaimed Swiss artist Roman Signer.
The photograph captures one of Signers iconic action-based interventions, blurring the line between sculpture, performance, and photography.
The work is hand-signed and dated on the reverse by the artist, with the signature visible through a designated window on the back of the frame, maintaining the integrity of the frontal image.
Roman Signer stages a surreal moment inside a sparse, industrial workshop. This is a rare and authentic piece reflecting Signers unique conceptual approach to physical movement and transformation.
Professionally framed in our own frame-shop.
Authenticity and provenance guaranteed.
Delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
Worldwide shipping, tax-friendly to the USA and EU countries.
Custom handmade framing available on request.
Presentation
Roman Signer was born in 1938 in Appenzell, Switzerland. He is known worldwide for his "explosive" performances. Since 1971 he lives and works in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Since 1973 he creates and produces works that combine sculpture, performance, photography and documentary video. Fascinated by nature's strength (storms, wind, volcanos, geysers...) his experiments are powerful, poetic and often dangerous actions.
Using explosive material and helicopters, Roman Signer examines time, the fourth dimension. Veritable "time sculptures", each of his works is a display of mastery and a release of energy.
