Description
This photograph captures an old alleyway with uneven cobblestones, bathed in light. To the left, a wall features a kidney-shaped window, framing a shimmering scene of the outside world and offering an intriguing perspective of the surrounding space. The interplay of light and shadow created by this opening casts a soft silhouette onto the cobblestones. In the center, a child carrying a box crosses the scene, injecting a moment of life into this serene space. The wooden and stone facades of the buildings reflect traditional architecture, evoking a bygone charm. An old lamppost hanging from a wall contributes to the composition's nostalgic atmosphere. The subtle interplay between modern and historical elements lends this image a captivating harmony, paying homage to the simplicity and beauty of everyday details.
A small scene of village life in Qian Deng (near Shanghai), a man is working in the street.
Presentation
Born in China (Hubei) in 1976, holding an economics and management degree, Feng Hatat is married and lives in Reims.
A professional photographer since 2005, she founded the Rêve-Ville (Dream-City) agency with Alain Hatat. Her favorite means of expression are centered on the reportage, the illustration but also portraits of creative people.
She observes things quietly, and then she captures them with her camera. She likes to experiment with new angles. She always makes sure that her photographs tell a story. She is passionate about creating a set for her characters. She meets them more often ""off stage"", when they go behind the scenes, in unusual settings, in natural light. Curiosity and the aesthetics are her main guidelines.
