Exploring color in the darkness, inspired by the Italian and Dutch renaissance. He brings hints of the fauna of his native South American vibrant and passionate colors. Bringing them into this obscure space he hopes to ignite the imagination of the world that surrounds his subjects in the pictures. Like a dream within the landscapes of classical renaissance paintings. The artist uses a vivid contrast of color to add an extra dimension in the movement and shadows of each piece. Almost giving a glimpse, outside of the nostalgia, of his -black & whites- and sepias. Evoking a sense of freedom and liberation.

This evocative artwork captures an intimate and mysterious scene dominated by chiaroscuro—a dramatic play of light and shadow. Positioned against a dark backdrop, two entwined figures are partially visible, their skin softly illuminated to reveal the gentleness of their embrace. The composition draws the eye to an outstretched arm holding a vividly green apple, contrasting sharply with the subdued tones. This element evokes themes of temptation and desire, reminiscent of classical symbolism. The tactile details of the figures’ muscles and the smooth texture of the apple enrich the visual narrative. The strategic use of lighting emphasizes the sculptural form of the bodies, creating a sense of depth and intrigue. This piece masterfully explores human connection, blending classical elements with a modern interpretation, inviting viewers to ponder the layers of meaning behind the poignant gesture.
