Description
Kunstenaar: Ghost Art
Titel: Moneywall “Gulden”
Techniek: mixed media / epoxy
Oplage: 8
Afmeting: 80cm
The artwork titled “Moneywall Gulden”, created by artist Ghost Art, is a contemporary art piece that features a wall decorated with money bills in a mix of mixed media and epoxy. The piece is created using the technique of mixed media/epoxy, which adds additional texture and dimension to the image.
The artwork is a limited edition, with only 8 units available, which further increases its rarity and artistic value. “Moneywall Gulden” can be interpreted in several ways, one of which is a critique of contemporary society’s obsession with money and consumption.
The wall of money, which features Gulden notes, the currency of the Netherlands that was replaced by the euro, can be seen as a reflection on the ephemerality of money and its ability to transform society. The intriguing and provocative image of the piece can generate interesting discussions about the intersection between art and politics, as well as about the relationship between art and the global economy.

Presentation
Ghost Art, born in 1985 in Tilburg, the Netherlands, is a contemporary artist known for his striking depictions of modern prosperity and cultural icons. His work merges traditional artistic craftsmanship with innovative techniques, creating bold, thought-provoking pieces that blend elements of street art, pop culture, and fine art. By incorporating detailed stenciling, layered textures, and high-contrast imagery, he explores themes of power, wealth, and influence in today's society. Despite his growing global recognition, Ghost Art remains anonymous, letting his artwork speak for itself. His distinctive style has gained the attention of collectors and galleries across Europe and beyond.
In recent years, Ghost Art's popularity has surged, with his works featured in major exhibitions and high-profile private collections. In 2024, he launched a new series that reimagines classical masterpieces through a contemporary lens, integrating metallic finishes, neon accents, and digital influences to reflect the modern age. His latest creations have been showcased in key art hubs such as Amsterdam, London, and Berlin, drawing attention from art critics and investors alike. As demand for his work continues to rise, Ghost Art is solidifying his reputation as a leading figure in contemporary art, reshaping how society perceives wealth, status, and cultural legacy.
