As is often the case in Fred Meurice’s work, there is a double meaning. The black diamond, a symbol of luxury, opens to reveal images of Coco Chanel and plexiglass sculptures of Karl Lagerfeld, Inès de la Fressange, Claudia Schiffer, and Naomi Campbell—icons of the fashion house.
The elegant, minimalist black frame enhances the piece, lending it a refined depth.
