His oversized, cartoony features are strikingly rendered on a dollar bill, symbolizing the allure and ephemeral nature of fame and fortune. A bold, red stamp declaring “Rock Star" boldly proclaims Daffy's rockstar status, adding a touch of irreverence and playful subversion.
The artwork's vibrant hues, a medley of oranges, blues, and greens, pulsate with energy, embodying the exuberance and rebellious spirit of rock music. The high gloss resin coating lends a luxurious sheen to the artwork, further enhancing its visual impact. It's as if Daffy Duck has burst onto the scene, seizing the spotlight with his infectious energy and larger-than-life personality.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, “Rock Star" serves as a commentary on the allure of fame and the power of self-expression. Daffy Duck, a character known for his comedic antics and self-assuredness, embodies the rockstar persona, defying conventions and embracing individuality. His presence on a dollar bill, a symbol of financial success, highlights the paradoxical relationship between fame and fortune.

Presentation
James Chiew's paintings are born from his creativity, insight, and organizational skills. The designs are recognizable, graphic, and often with an oriental tinge. A sculpture or painting by James Chiew has the gift of elevating the atmosphere of an entire room to the next level. James Chiew, originally from Singapore, never received formal training in art or design. Thanks to his insight and talent, he became a freelance photographer and art director.
In 2001, his graphic design agency was founded. As his thirst for creative expression was not yet satisfied, he began photography in 2005. He gained experience in product and culinary photography, among other things, before expanding his skills with modeling sessions. It wasn't until 2009 that his true artistic blood revealed itself. James Chiew's images or paintings appeal to the imagination through colors , shapes, and texts. He is no stranger to exhibitions.
"If you are not satisfied with what you see, create it yourself." Chiew's motto is evident in every painting or sculpture by James Chiew. Chiew draws inspiration from everyday objects and activities. When you recognize his source of inspiration, you will never look at the world the same again. Chiew knows how to show the viewer a different perspective with his attention to detail, color, and technique. A fresh look at what we encounter in our daily lives. The sometimes bold hues and images bring excitement and sensation. It's no wonder Chiew has made a name for himself in corporate art. A James Chiew sculpture or a James Chiew painting separates you from reality.
