Limited to 10 pieces!

A powerful interplay of street art and emotional depth: This high-quality art print, based on an original hand-painted work by Tizlu, offers a striking reflection on transformation and the human relationship with melancholy.

The artwork features a facade worker descending on a rope, carefully painting over a massive, submarine-yellow, sorrowful smiley face with white paint. The original piece was created entirely without stencils or screen printing—each brushstroke carrying a raw, organic authenticity. That same sense of depth is preserved in the print, which is produced on lightly textured Hahnemühle paper, reminiscent of canvas fabric in feel and appearance.

The contrast between the vivid yellow and the encroaching white creates a captivating visual tension—symbolizing the delicate act of confronting, concealing, or redefining sadness. Yet the act of erasure feels incomplete: can emotions ever be fully covered, or do they always linger just beneath the surface?

With its precise balance of color, form, and narrative tension, this print becomes more than a decorative piece—it invites deep contemplation of human emotion and artistic intervention.

Perfect for collectors and art enthusiasts who value conceptual depth and visual impact, Tizlu distills complex psychological themes into a deceptively simple yet emotionally charged composition. This artwork doesn't just depict—it challenges the viewer to engage in the fragile dialogue between expression and suppression.
