Description
Original etching lavished with watercolour, signed.
This surreal artwork captivates with its vivid and imaginative composition.
The scene unfolds with a central figure wearing a textured green shirt and striped leggings, extending an elongated arm towards fantastical elements. To the upper right, a brown creature with exaggerated horns seems to float, adding an eerie dimension. A yellow fish appears to be leaping mid-air, amidst a swirl of disembodied eyes that survey the scene with uncanny vigilance. The background features a muted landscape, blending sea and sky, offering a dreamlike foundation. A prominent face emerges from swirling blue forms on the right, suggestive of water or clouds. The inclusion of a target-like pattern in the bottom right introduces a sense of aim and focus amidst the chaos.
The inventive use of color and form creates a dynamic interplay, invoking themes of fantasy and perception. This artwork challenges the viewer to explore the boundaries of reality and imagination.
