Bronze Sculpture for Sale
Emilie draws her inspiration from the visceral love that binds her to the wild world; a world she discovered in childhood, barefoot in the grass.
Mumuzepaint is a pseudonym that literally means painting while having fun!
Born in the Basque Country, Emilie Moreau is a professional painter and independent author.
She was given a book about Dali's life when she was little; she takes it everywhere, and it accompanies her throughout her artistic life. The surrealist universe fascinates her.
After discovering calligraphy and automatic drawing, she took up painting. Just like the animal artist Rosa Bonheur,
These creatures, sometimes even the most invisible among them, shape her imaginary world. She paints with acrylics and depicts a gallery of portraits with words. Like the lion hunted as a trophy, or Mama Chali, the wise Mexican shaman of the Huichol people, delivering a message. Not forgetting Tcharly the polar bear, a victim of climate change. (See photo). These portraits were exhibited in Paris at the Grand Palais in 2014, and in India from 2015 to 2021.
She currently continues to exhibit her work in France and Europe. In 2017, she published a book of short stories about endangered wildlife, which she presented in art workshops (chalk, writing, drawing) for schools, media libraries, and other libraries. In 2019, she then began writing a children's novel, followed by a screenplay for an animated film, both exploring the theme of climate change. This work of artistic creation and communication through various media is, for Emilie, a way to amplify the call of nature's unheard voices.
