Signed in pencil below the image, centered.
Image size 47 x 47 cm (image size).
Besides geometrically intricate compositions that often verge on Op Art, Alviani was particularly known for his kinetic objects. As early as the 1964 Venice Biennale, he exhibited moving art in space with Enrico Castellani, and shortly thereafter, MoMA in New York chose his work for the title of its exhibition "The New Acquisitions." It is also noteworthy that Alviani, as a visual artist, was appointed director of the Museum of Modern Art in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela.
