Description
Untitled is an original colored lithograph on paper realized by the Sicilian artist Giovanni de Simone in 1972 and published by La Nuova Foglio publishing house of Macerata, as the drystamp reports on the lower right corner.
Image dimensions: 44.3 x 31.4 cm.
Representing a colorful composition with a confused human crowd with animals, woman, Sicilian prickly pear cactus, flutist, a lying down naked woman, is hand-signed and dated in pencil by the artist on the lower right margin. This is a fine original print, numbered in pencil on lower left margin, a fine specimen from an edition of 100 prints.
A really fine contemporary artwork with an evident Picasso's influence and references to the Sicilian original country, a very joyful artwork to decor your home!
Giovanni De Simone, born in 1930, opened his studio in Palermo, Sicily soon after the end of World War II. He had worked and studied for a while under the direction of Pablo Picasso and Picasso's influence remained with him until he died in 1991, Giovanni had retired ten years earlier (1981).
