Description
“This piece speaks of the feeling I had when the first confinement was announced in France. Hands and eyes always reveal the true inner feelings, even if you try so hard to hide them. It is our nature. We are human. On March 16, total containment was announced in France. It was a turning point where I began to ask myself many questions about life, fears, freedom, health, family and vocation. Words aside, I have worked a lot on the artwork “COVID-19 Lockdown” which concerns the feelings of frustration that I felt (…) The fear of the epidemic, the closing of the borders and the global panic drove my mind crazy. This is why I wanted to illustrate the variations of feelings such as anxiety, loneliness, wandering, trembling and fear of the unpredictable future. This time the humans were caged like birds, weren't they? "
