Presentation
Jorn van Hoorn (1982) a commencé à peindre en 1999. Au cours des prochaines années, il est passé d'un étudiant en arts récemment diplômé (Sint Lucas) à un artiste polyvalent et à la télévision pour le diffuseur public BNN. En 2018, Van Hoorn a remporté le prix du Street Art Award (catégorie: le plus inventif).
Il a fait sa première exposition personnelle à l'âge de 19 ans à la galerie Kuijpers. Peu de temps après, il a fait d'autres expositions à l'étranger et aux Pays-Bas. Parmi celles-ci, une exposition musicale au musée Van Der Togt à Amstelveen.
Le style unique de Van Hoorn transforme les objets du quotidien en une perception différente de la réalité. Il emploie des matériaux qui fonctionnent comme un catalyseur et s'adaptent à la vitesse de sa pensée et de son travail. Un tourbillon laissant derrière lui une traînée de peinture, d'argile et de graffitis. Il préfère produire des sculptures sur l'amour, la beauté et l'évanescence.
