Description
Arches theme white sandstone sculpture. "These sculptures are inspired by the happiness that the alignment of the arches gives me, when they seem to resonate, according to the movement of the gaze and where the light always passes !!" This sculpture presents, in its interior, a dome which opens on the outside like a refuge. The underside of the sculpture is lined with leather. Hand-signed, engraved in the sculpture. Certificate of authenticity from the gallery, countersigned by the artist.
Presentation
Born in the Ardennes in 1945 in a family of farmers. Chemical engineer training, then IT in a Bank.
In 1977, began an artistic activity (sculpture) to find a more personal space of expression.
Realization of a "Marianne", for the town hall of ARTAISE-LE-VIVIER (08) inaugurated on 11-11-2000
Exhibitions: - in November 2007 with Danielle LOZACH (oils) rue de Cicé Paris 6th, and in October 2011 Galerie AGAP rue Vandrezanne in Paris 13th - in January 2009 with the group of Simone COUDERC rue de Grenelle Paris and in October 2012 Av of the Grande Armée in Paris - in 2010 and 2014 as part of the “Sème la culture” festival in the Ardennes - in November 2016 with the photographer Marc TOURET in Charleville Mézières.

“From 1980 to 2017, I happily worked alongside the artist Simone Couderc.
My themes: - Nature: the sun, the fields, the energy that comes from the earth, communicated to the minerals, which are transformed into plants, into beings close to humans - The Arlésian dances: stylization of movements in column, in round ,… In freedom - The architecture of religious buildings: cloisters, arches, cupolas, curves and ridges and sections of curves and ridges, refuges and passages. "
