The work adopts the idealized features of a Renaissance-inspired bust, immediately evoking the canons of beauty and harmony of the 16th century. The matte white surface of the face, with its carefully sculpted curls, recalls the purity of marble and the refinement of ancient masterpieces.

This historical reference is deliberately disrupted by the addition of a smooth, reflective golden mask covering the lower part of the face. This contemporary element acts as both a visual and conceptual rupture: the precious metal captures light, distorts reflections, and introduces an almost futuristic dimension at the heart of an ancestral form.
