Description
Girl's dream is a sculpture by the contemporary French artist Cécile Raynal.This is a bronze edition of the Girl's dream sculpture (original in sandstone). The figurative piece is of a seated woman, standing with her arms and legs crossed. This work belongs to the collection entitled Les Ombres d'Alice, which regroups oneiric creations by Cecile Raynal. The artist appreciates to immerse herself in peculiar places and universes in order to give a silent voice to those who live there. Thus, she invites us to dream. Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland is a big reference of this collection which leads the spectator in a poetic world inhabited by surprising and dreamy creatures.
