Description
This striking work depicts a stylized car, constructed from intricate layers of bright blue. Each cut-out section flows into a harmonious arrangement, creating the illusion of fluid movement. Set on a black base, the sculpture plays with transparency and texture, adding an extra dimension to its modern appearance. The transparent metal wheels subtly contrast with the dominant blue, capturing the essence of a redesigned automobile. The artist has masterfully fused technology with artistic innovation, transforming an everyday object into a captivating piece of art. This creation embodies a bold exploration of form and space, inspiring as well as fascinating.
Presentation
Jean-François Piecourt is a contemporary French sculptor, originally from Orléans. Born 39 years ago, he evolved as a graphic designer from a young age, his passion for art, architecture and the automotive world, he offers you today his works with a technique that allows him to move from graphics to the third dimension, he quickly established himself as an artist in the world of metal sculpture, shaping works that combine technicality, creativity, and passion.
Specializing in sculptures of cars, busts, and animals, Jean-François often draws inspiration from symbols of power and elegance. Among his most iconic creations is a sculpture inspired by the legendary 911, embodying both the precision of automotive engineering and artistic freedom. His metal bull, a symbol of strength and resilience, has also captured the attention of art lovers.
Committed to exclusivity and authenticity, Jean-François Piecourt plans to produce limited editions of his works. Each model is produced in five copies per color, with the ambition of creating a unique version for each model, thus making certain pieces particularly rare and prized by collectors.
Jean-François Piecourt continues to explore the infinite possibilities of metal, transforming each creation into a work of art that is both timeless and innovative.
