Description
This captivating work features a beautifully sculpted PVC wall sculpture in a deep, vibrant blue. The piece is distinguished by its bold folds that appear to curl and undulate, creating a sense of dynamic movement despite its stillness. The polished surfaces subtly catch the light, adding an extra dimension to the work and accentuating its flowing curves. The uniformity of the blue color contrasts with the intricately pleated forms, striking a balance between simplicity and complexity. This sculpture draws the eye with its contemporary allure and meticulous workmanship, prompting the viewer to question the relationship between art and space. The work stands out as a remarkable example of modern art, where form and color combine to evoke both a sense of tranquility and a force in motion.
Presentation
Michele di Sarno presents his POPART works with charm and a contemporary flair. His idols are the greats of the scene, so you'll find borrowings from Andy Warhol, Richard Hamilton, and Roy Lichtenstein. Historical inspirations can be found in his work.
He mixes his unusual motifs—often borrowed from comics or the art scene—in a new way and arranges them in his own style. He attempts to change the rigid and inflexible outlook of his peers by processing existing materials. His works are humorous and often provocative, exciting, and full of discovering allusions. Renewed in its context and rebellious in its implementation, he has developed an expressive type of artwork, which he creates with a distinctive technique and individual writing.
