Description
This bold sculpture fuses classical art and modernity. Depicting the silhouette of a bear, it is adorned with toile de Jouy motifs in shades of blue, evoking bucolic and wildlife scenes. These delicate illustrations intertwine across the surface, creating a striking contrast with the golden “Dior" inscription that proudly sits on the front. Around the neck, a spiked golden collar adds a touch of rebellion to the piece's traditional elegance. The choice of elements recalls the subtleties of haute couture fashion and exudes an aura of opulence and sophistication. The precise execution of the design and the harmony of colors give this work an irresistible charm, inviting the viewer to admire every carefully crafted detail. Masterful in its design, this object transcends time, combining artisanal tradition and contemporary aesthetics.
Presentation
Naor is a French artist from Lyon born in 1988. Completely anchored in his time, he has always traveled a lot around the world. If travels form youth, Naor was inspired by it. From the top of his thirty years, he succeeded in retranscribing his observations, his feelings and his impressions. Thanks to his childlike supports, his contemporary details, he achieves a delicious harmony between softness and violence. This discrepancy constitutes his identity. Like life, marked by hardship, his works refer us to our own experiences. Finally, the use of luxury brands in a spirit of "Pop'art" allows him to pay homage or to denounce the way our societies function. Naor interprets the world with his child's eyes.
