Standing 40 cm tall, this sculpture boldly reinterprets the cult character Casimir (from the world of the television program L'Ile aux Enfants) to place him in a resolutely urban and contemporary language.
The artist transforms this nostalgic figure into a medium for free expression, where pop culture, street art and references to history meet.

The signature, the iconic crown, and a stylized portrait evoking Basquiat's world are all explicitly present. The inscription "People love people love art" is also included, a nod to the raw aphorisms of the New York artist.
Iconic figures like Garfield, Donald or Snoopy appear on different sides of the sculpture, creating a dialogue between French television childhood and international popular imagery.
A Street art effect, the layering of tags, inscriptions (“The King", “Samo", “Tax Free"), colorful splashes and dominant orange/yellow contrasts reinforce the raw energy of the work.
