Description
This bronze sculpture captures the grace of a female body in a posture of introspection. The figurative work focuses on the fluidity of lines and the softness of curves. The silhouette blends into a compact mass. The absence of precise anatomical details reinforces the timeless dimension of the composition.
The dark, matte patina absorbs the light to highlight the relief of the bust. The contrast is marked by the natural stone base. This raw block, with light tones and irregular textures, anchors the figure in a material reality.
Created in 1985, this piece testifies to a search for the balance between abstraction and representation. The eye is drawn to the slight twist of the neck and the tilt of the head. The whole exudes a deep serenity. The structure rests on a rectangular base with beige tones.
Presentation
Lluís Llongueras represents the disagreement that corresponds directly to the personality of the artist, always versatile, groundbreaking, temperamental and one hundred percent restless, who has made his life a creative act.
He is a man of today who constantly rethinks questions and breaks molds to reread and make renewed and modern revisions.
It is evident that Lluís Llongueras, a man of Modernity, is a direct heir to the Renaissance artist who naturally practiced various arts simultaneously, all of them the result of the same creative energy. He is a poet, writer, photographer, draftsman, painter, sculptor...
I have always admired in a very special way those artists who are so having put aside a profession, an activity in which they had successfully stood out.
