Description
This sculpture explores the dialogue between two stylized silhouettes. The oxidized metal imposes a raw presence. Its rusty hue anchors the composition in an industrial and earthy aesthetic.
The artist plays with lines and voids. A rectangular frame structures the space. It simultaneously encloses and liberates the figures.
The contrast of materials enriches the visual narrative. The textile brings a touch of softness and color. An olive green drape envelops one figure, while an orange fabric adorns the second.
The balance rests on a base of natural stone. Its porous and light texture contrasts with the rigidity of the metal.
The finesse of the metallic limbs creates a suspended movement. The lines intersect to suggest an invisible connection.
The whole relies on a search for simplicity and accuracy. The work on corrosion highlights the passage of time on the materials.
