Description
A slender silhouette rises with striking verticality.
This sculpture in oxidized metal plays with balance and finesse.
The raw material, marked by time, imposes an organic presence.
The self-taught artist shapes here a hybrid form, between animalism and abstraction.
The contrast is sharp between the massive base and the lightness of the filiform limbs.
The eye glides along taut lines that culminate in a stylized head.
The deep red of the rust brings an earthy warmth to the whole.
The empty space becomes a central element of the composition.
The piece rests on a narrow rectangular pedestal.
The irregular grain of the surface emphasizes the artisanal dimension of the metalwork.
