Description
REMAINS: A Place to Begin: Textured Round Abstract Artwork with White and Gold Relief
Turquoise abstract artwork brings quiet depth to a home; collectors are invited to make this unique piece part of their collection. "REMAINS: A Place to Begin" (40 cm diameter x 2 cm depth / 15.75 in diameter x 0.79 in depth) is a circular artwork by Anastacia Kevich. Flowing aqua and deep teal lines surround a raised white band, with gold accents following its folds. The artist combines alcohol ink, muslin, plaster, epoxy resin, and metal leaf on wood panel to balance fluid color with tactile structure. Its reflective mood connects to the REMAINS series and its exploration of identity. Social roles, inherited values, and familiar expectations can become difficult to separate from personal choice. This artwork opens space for questioning those influences and deciding what still belongs. The round format offers a gentle counterpoint to clean-lined furniture, making it well suited to modern living rooms, bedrooms, or a reading corner. A singular addition for collectors of textured abstraction, it also makes a meaningful gift for someone beginning a new chapter. The artwork is unframed and hand-signed by the artist on the back.
