Painting, singing, dreaming....here is a complete artist who likes to mix genres and marry arts! Writing, then theater, directing and finally painting and collage ... Martine Degot transforms the banal, cultivates the extra-ordinary in everything she does;
Thus she creates unique paintings, poems in 3 dimensions, from objects found during her walks and encounters: candy wrappers, boxing gloves, bicycle stretchers, old toys .... a moving way to give them a new life, to awaken our childish soul and to play with memories.
Often, Martine Degot's paintings are inspired by her songs, the artist managing to find melodies everywhere with a deep sense of poetry.
Her works transfigure the mundane into compositions full of her incredible energy and love of life.
Martine Degot creates and recreates for us small worlds that wake us up and remind us how wonderful the daily life can be...
