Description
This captivating work is distinguished by its bold and abstract approach. Dominated by shades of red, green, and pink, it presents a vibrant fusion of shapes and colors. The vivid pink background frames a complex silhouette at the center, marked by dynamic green patches and energetic black strokes. To the right, a yellow square draws the eye, serving as an electric counterpoint to the passionate red on the left. Circular elements add a dimension of movement, almost seeming to dance across the canvas. The juxtaposition of colors creates a captivating visual tension, evoking conflicting emotions. The audacious use of geometric and organic forms expresses a noisy and chaotic energy, engaging the viewer to explore the emotional depths of the work. This unique composition reinvents visual space and challenges traditional artistic conventions.
Presentation
Silvio Mildo was born in Marseille in 1992. His parents are of Portuguese origin for his father, Armenian for his mother.
From childhood, he developed a marked taste for art. However, it was self-taught that he became a painter at the age of 22.
After discovering and exploring graffiti, he emancipated himself from it to embrace a workshop practice nourished by influences
diverse, from abstract expressionism to the COBRA movement, from Alechinsky to Robert Combas.
“I don’t come from any school,” he assures us. I try to stay free
in my approach to painting and not to obey any rules, while keeping in mind the work of my predecessors. »
