Anthony Caer

Anthony Caer, originally from Finistère, works as a structural engineer in a design office. Certainly it is from this training that emanates his taste for line, materials and architecture, at the heart of his photographic work.

His professional and personal experiences took him to the United States, where Anthony Caer lived for five years. The New Mexico desert is what clicks. Fascinated by this landscape, Anthony Caer seeks to capture its beauty, its nature, its essence through the lens that has just been given to him. Self-taught, he refined his technique through experimentation and now works with a set of tinted filters.

After a stint in Japan, Anthony Caer returned to France in 2015 and settled in Brittany. He then devoted himself to photography and developed a more personal and pictorial expression.

The Glaz series started in 2017 allows him to approach the nuances of the sea and to be a finalist in the Grand Prix Photographique de Bretagne.

His work is today exhibited in galleries and at photographic festivals in Brittany and France.

He joins the Gaïa Gallery in 2024
