"Every time I look at a photograph, I feel like something is being hidden from me."
Biography
I think my approach is literary, in a way, because what interests me the most is to tell the spirit of the photographs I work on. As if I wanted to show that behind the simple visual aspect, there is a text, a story. And it is through a visual approach (painting) that I try to find the text.
I have written several novels, which I see as photographs since they feed my mind with images.
Thus, images and texts challenge each other, intersect, beyond the mediums themselves. Texts are images, images are texts.
I want to extract the raw, authentic, and buried truth from photographs. Let it emerge and force us to look at it.
Actually, I'm thinking about it right now as I write, I'm trying to interest people who have the same buried truths as me. Maybe you...
