Michel Soubeyrand began his career in cinema, advertising and puppets before turning towards art. The artist is interested in animals and in a way, he compares them to our animal instinct through irony and aesthetics. Just like comics or mythological tales, his work portrays fantastic and colorful characters.
In the same lines as Pop Art, though he does not try to imitate this art. Michel Soubeyrand has created his own vocabulary due to his expertise in technique.
