Biography
A native of Tennessee, United States, Kayla Rumpp is a painter, sculptor and educator whose work explores the intersectional relationship between painting and sculpture. Currently undertaking her MFA at the University of Iowa, the artist has developed a style of colorful and geometric relief painting which seamlessly blurs the distinction between the artistic disciplines of painting and sculpture.
Rumpp’s artwork has been exhibited in several showcases across the United States, notably in Tennessee and Iowa, where the artist is largely based.
