Description
This captivating artwork presents a bold geometric composition against a deep red background. Rectangular and square shapes, in vibrant colors like yellow, orange, turquoise, and green, dance harmoniously, creating a dynamic visual tension. The inverted black triangle at the center draws the eye, adding a striking contrast. Subtle shades of blue and emerald green balance the warmth of the red, generating a visual symphony. Each element is strategically positioned, illustrating the harmony between simplicity and complexity. The absence of outlines encourages the interplay of shapes and colors, inviting subjective interpretation. The whole emanates a vibrant energy, exemplifying the artist's mastery in manipulating form and color. This work engages the viewer on a journey through an abstract world where balance and movement emerge.
Presentation
Coming from a family of artists, a former father of Fine Arts, a self-taught painter mother, Scalarudgia spent the first 20 years of her life in Paris in the company of this mother, with undeniable talent, very marked by the cubist movement. Predispositions for drawing are revealed very early on, but will be abandoned more by reason than by choice. Scala leaves the family home at the age of 20 and becomes professionally independent, until an unexpected event turns life and benchmarks upside down, an emotional Big Bang from which we do not come out unscathed and with which we will have to learn to live differently. Scalarudgia lives in Boulogne in the heights of the Seine.
