Description
This captivating work is a vibrant homage to geometric abstraction, centered around a bold assemblage of shapes and vibrant colors. A green background frames the painting for a dynamic composition where an orange triangle stands out vividly, adding directional force. Overlapping rectangles in red, blue, yellow, and purple create a striking visual depth. Diagonal black and white stripes in the center add a dimension of intrigue and movement. The black and white circles contrast elegantly with the sharp angles of the rectangles and triangles. This work is distinguished by its perfect balance between symmetry and asymmetry, order and chaos, inviting the viewer to explore the boundaries of modern art. Presentation
Coming from a family of artists, a former father of Fine Arts, a self-taught painter mother, Scalarudgia spent the first 20 years of her life in Paris in the company of this mother, with undeniable talent, very marked by the cubist movement. Predispositions for drawing are revealed very early on, but will be abandoned more by reason than by choice. Scala leaves the family home at the age of 20 and becomes professionally independent, until an unexpected event turns life and benchmarks upside down, an emotional Big Bang from which we do not come out unscathed and with which we will have to learn to live differently. Scalarudgia lives in Boulogne in the heights of the Seine.
