Félix Denax (1936-1999) Denax first painted in the figurative abstract expressionist style, then towards informal landscaping. Then in abstract landscaping. Research and discovery career. His technique, prepared after a long work, results in a work of materialist which is the trace of a viscerally earthly man, a plowman. It is earth, sands, silicas in different shades that Denax masks with a trowel, a spatula, in the rhythms and punctuated shapes of nature, with its crevices, its grooves, its cavities, its striations and its furrows.
