Liwen Ye is a Chinese painter, born in 1963 in Shantou.
She did her graduation at the Xinhai conservatory, she also did an apprenticeship in painting at the China Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Liwen Ye is also a fan of music, She likes to combine her pictorial activity with her music practice. She sees her paintings as visual capriccios. She uses bright colors energetically and the composition is well paced. Her work is a mix of Chinese traditions and modernity.
Liwen Ye is a member of the Artists Association of Shantou, this is a very well-known association in China. In 2010, her comprehensive annotated catalog was published under the name "Great artists of Chinese contemporary art-Paintings of Liwen Ye". Her work is also presented in a book called "Art du Guangdong".
