Eurgal is a French artist born in 1948. He is a member at several academies: Européenne des Arts, Fine Arts International in Quebec, la Société Académique « Arts – Sciences – Lettres and member of the Taylor Foundation. Eurgal is chevalier of the National Order of Arts and Letters.
Eurgal's paintings create an infinite horizon over sunny oceans. His work is an invitation to travel and contemplate, Eurgal's landscapes are soothing and take us to a distant world. Filled with exoticism and familiar landscapes, his oil paintings lengthen short-lived moments and wants us to make time stand still. Through intense color ranges but also contrasts, they give a romantic look to nature. With great composition skills, the painter puts together an enormous foreground and uses blue canvases or villages where light is omnipresent. Eurgal highlights his attraction for fraternity and his passion for freedom.

Even the prefecture of La Rochelle used his works while creating cards. His works have been acquired by the public, the prefecture of Charente-Maritime and the Chatellerault city hall.
